Also attending the town were two PCSOs and a police constable who distributed road safety leaflets.
The day of action was part of the ongoing Operation Landlike. The operation is a joint intuitive between Avon and Somerset Police, Devon and Cornwall Police and Crimestoppers.
It aims to deal with drink and drug driving and rural crimes in the Exmoor area.
