Police have issued an appeal for help to find a man who they say failed to attend a court hearing.

The Avon and Somerset force published the appeal on Monday, asking for help to find Joe Payton, who has links to West Somerset.

A spokesperon said: "We are asking members of the public to call if they come across Joe Payton.

"Payton is wanted on a warrant after failing to attend a court hearing last year in relation to a driving offence charge.

"The 28-year-old has links to West Somerset, particularly Williton.

"Payton is described as male, white and has short brown hair.

"If you see Payton, please call 999 quoting reference 5222177248, or call 101 with any other information."
