Indian restaurant applies for alcohol licence
A restaurant which serves South Indian cuisine in Minehead has applied for a premises licence which will allow them to sell alcohol.
Jeffin Jacob, on behalf of Chai D’lish, applied to Somerset Council for the premises licence on March 20.
If the application is successful, the restaurant located on Friday Street can sell alcohol on the premises from Monday to Sunday between 10 am to 10 pm.
Temporary footway closure in Watchet
THE footway between St Decumans Road and Brendon Road will close for 37 days to enable Wales & West Utilities to carry out gas mains replacement works.
Works are expected to commence on April 20.
The order becomes effective on April 16 and will remain in force for six months.
