A PACKAGE of highways improvements over the next few weeks in Porlock has been agreed with Somerset Council.
Parish council vice-chairman Cllr Stephen Colson said a stretch of double yellow lines would be removed in Redway.
Although there was not enough space to install a full-width accessible parking space in High Street opposite the village Post Office, an existing ‘courtesy’ accessible space was to be retained.
All road signs in Porlock were to be cleaned, including those on Porlock Hill, and improved pedestrian safety signs would be installed at the bottom of Dunster Steep.
