THREE fire crews from Minehead and Williton rushed to the village of Withycombe on Thursday afternoon (April 2).
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue (DSFR) was alerted shortly after 1 pm to a tractor near the village which had caught alight.
The firefighters on arrival found the tractor was ‘fully involved in fire’.
They used used a hose reel jet to put out the blaze, but not before the tractor was completely destroyed.
A DSFR spokesperson said the cause of the fire was found to be accidental.
