A TOTAL of almost £2,000 was raised for Children’s Hospice South West recently, at the ‘Marrow Sunday’ charity auction at The Lowtrow Cross Inn, Upton, recently.
The event, which returned after a year’s absence, raised £1,925, which included over £500 from local resident Kevin Hancock having his head shaved.
“The amount raised was overwhelming and people’s generosity was greatly appreciated,” a spokesman for the organisers said.
