WEST Somerset residents will have a chance to put questions to Chief Constable Andy Marsh when he takes part in a live webchat with Police and Crime Commissioner Sue Mount-stevens.
People are asked to submit their questions before the 30-minute video forum at 5pm on Tuesday, January 24
Some questions have already been put forward and the discussion will be based around their themes, including fraud, body-worn video cameras, tasers and rural crime.
It will end by taking a selection of other questions that have been submitted.
Mrs Mountstevens said: “We are still trialling this format and scheduling the live videos at different times of the day to see what works best for local people.
“The live video is not replacing face-to-face meetings. I’m still keen to meet local people and to hold events where residents can ask questions of the police.”
She said she was keen to represent people’s views in local policing: “I can only do that if they tell me what matters most to them.”
The webchat will be broadcast on Facebook live via the link www.facebook.com/AandSPCC
Questions should be submitted by email to [email protected] or by phoning 01275 816377.
They may also be sent on Facebook or on Twitter using the hashtag #PCCinconvo.
