I am writing to express my gratitude to our wonderful community here in Minehead (and surrounding areas) for their incredible support for the event “Flight of the Bumble Band” held at the Regal Theatre on Saturday 1July 13 to raise money for the charity Hope For Tomorrow, in particular our local mobile chemotherapy unit Bumble.  There are so many individuals that have shown such kindness during the lead up to, and during the event.

Special thanks to all performers and their inspirational teachers, for the unsung heroes backstage, set building and technical crews, for sharing your time and amazing talents.

Huge thanks also to businesses and organisations in our town that have contributed practically and financially, and for all band sponsors.

I would personally like to thank my partner, son, daughter and family for their incredible support over the last two years of planning.  

Together we raised £14,700.31 and have enabled Bumble to provide cancer treatment just a few minutes from home, every week of the year, for the next 18 months!
