WATCHET children’s drama club spent a happy afternoon during half-term designing and making their own dramatic masks using scrap materials.

The children threw themselves into the roles of their favourite characters from books and films for the session, led by Deanna Payne.
They are preparing for their big production of The Wizard of Oz to be held at Knights Templar School on April 4 and several of the children made masks to enhance their performance.
Club secretary Judy Robinson said: “It was brilliant to see a group of children working so well together in a creative setting.”
