SIR — How I agree with your correspondent with reference to lack of seats in The Parade, etc (Your Letters, August 9).

I suffer with breathing problems and a heart complaint so I cannot walk too far.

I needed to sit down very quickly on my last visit to Minehead and took advantage of a low wall near the DHSS.

Out came an irate shopkeeper, telling me to get off his wall, I was upsetting his flowers.

I tried to explain I needed to sit down but to no avail.

What do visitors think, seeing behaviour like that?

It is one shop I will never set foot in.
