A JOINT 100th birthday is being planned at Blenheim Lodge, Minehead, for husband and wife Denis and Daisy Crompton.
Denis was born on May 16, 1916, and Daisy less than three weeks later on June 4.
The couple have been married since 1940 having met three years earlier through their mutual love of rambling. Daisy was a club member and Denis was the club secretary.
When the time came, they decided to retire to West Somerset and have been living in Minehead for over 30 years.
