MORE than 120 homes and other properties on Exmoor lost their electricity supplies on Tuesday evening (June 9) after a fault developed on overhead high voltage lines.
National Grid said it did not expect to have the fault fully repaired until about 2.30 am on Wednesday.
The power outage affected properties in and around Withypool and close to Exford, and was first reported just after 8.15 pm on Tuesday.
A National Grid spokesperson said: “There is a fault on the high voltage power lines above ground.
“Power may go on and off while we work hard to sort this out.
“The interruption may not affect all customers in the postcode area.”
