SIR — Do you know what happens to your money after you pay your Council Tax - where it goes and what it’s spent on?

If you’d like to know then the next meeting of the Minehead Area Panel is the place for you. 

Steve Plenty of West Somerset Council will be speaking on “Council Tax and what happens to it” and there will be the opportunity for questions and discussion.

Also on the agenda for the meeting are the usual updates from local councils and organisations, including the Minehead Visioning Group and Development Trust plus a presentation of the Magna Annual Report.

This meeting is the public’s opportunity to meet councillors and council officers and to ask questions and comment on life in the town.

All residents of Minehead and Alcombe are welcome to attend on Wednesday December 9, 6.30-8pm, at The Avenue Methodist Church Hall.
