May I say how grateful we are at the West Somerset Food Cupboard for all the donations received recently as a result of harvest celebrations. People have been so generous and we have been able to replenish many of our supplies.

In addition, all our regular donors have continued to bring in their gifts.

Without all the support we receive from the community we would not be able to supply the boxes that we do to those in need, so thank you all very much.

It is sad to note that the need is not decreasing and is unlikely to in the near future.

We are soon to be joined in our work by the Quantock Foodbank, which opens on November 1, and I would like to wish them well as they begin such vital work. I look forward to working alongside them.
