THE streets of Porlock were lined with spectators when Minehead Harriers

held the traditional New Year’s Day meet.

The people of Porlock provided food and drinks were supplied by the Castle Hotel.

Pictured leading the hounds are Joint Masters George and Lizzie Milton. George Milton was born in Porlock and went to Porlock and Minehead schools. He went away hunting for some years and in 2015 returned to Exmoor as Master and Huntsman of the Minehead Harriers.
