A 19-year-old man was assaulted on Meadow Road, Yeovil, at around 10pm on Sunday, August 18th.
The man was walking along the road when he met a group of people aged 16-20. One group member confronted him before giving the go-ahead for other members to join in.
A total of four men kicked and punched him to the ground, inflicting a bruised eye and swelling to the right side of the face.
One perpetrator was described as being a well-built white man about 19 years of age and 6ft tall. He had dark swept-back hair and wore thin oblong-shaped glasses.
