RESIDENTS and visitors who made this season’s Blenheim Gardens outdoor concerts a success were this week thanked by the organisers who said they enjoyed “seeing people getting up and having a good boogie!”

Angry motorists ridicule council for blaming six-mile A39 queues on Storm Goretti Last weekend marked the last of the season’s concerts staged by Minehead Town Council, and featured The Understairs followed by Jessie and the Skunknecks on Saturday and Wiveliscombe Community Wind Band and friends on Sunday.
Minehead town councillor Toni Bloomfield said: “The bands this season have been well attended by locals and visitors, giving a nice outside safe entertainment in these difficult times.
“It’s given people the chance to socialise in a safe area and I have really enjoyed the range of different genres of music.
“Thank you to all who have come along and supported the bands, the bands themselves, and also a big thank you to Minehead Town Council for arranging such a fantastic line up.”
