VOLUNTEERS helped plant a ‘wild harvest’ hedge for Good Vibe Veg, a community-supported agriculture market garden in Horner, near Porlock.
Organised by Marise Taylor, they planted saplings of rowan, hazel, hawthorn, blackthorn, dog wood, dog rose, elder, and a few hornbeam, all provided by the Woodland Trust, which in time should provide wildlife habitat, windbreak, and possibly food to forage.
