THE Exmoor Pony Project is the subject of the next illustrated talk presented by the West Somerset National Trust Association on Wednesday November 8.

Speaker Dawn Westcott, co-founder of the project, will explain why the ancient, endangered-breed Exmoor ponies of Exmoor National Park is so special and what is being done to safeguard its future.

She will provide insights into work on the Holnicote Estate with wild-born Exmoors to win their trust and friendship – from moorland foals, to stallions and sometimes

Dawn is the author of best-sellers Wild Pony Whispering and Wild Stallion Whispering.  She will be signing copies of her newly published book Wild Herd Whispering.

The talk starts at 2.30pm in the Minehead Methodist Church Hall and is open to all. Admission £3.
