VILLAGERS in Porlock are being given a repeat performance by the progressive folk-rock band Tin Giants on Saturday (April 25).

The six-member band is returning to perform in the village hall at 7 pm to raise funds for Porlock Information Centre.

Taking a refreshing ‘in with the old, in with the new’ approach to interpreting, writing, arranging, and performing, they play traditional, contemporary, and original music inspired by European and Celtic acoustic and folk traditions.

A spokesperson said: “You will be treated to listening to a dazzling array of instruments including harp, mandolin, cittern, guitars, keyboards, violin, drums, bass, percussion, and vocals.”

Tickets at £14 are available from the visitor centre or online from We Got Tickets, and a bar will be provided by the Top Ship.
