PARENTS, carers, and anybody interested in inspiring young minds are being invited to a talk by writer Ben Hoare in the Thomas Poole Library, Nether Stowey.

Mr Hoare, based in Aisholt, on the Quantock Hills, is a passionate nature enthusiast and author for Dorling Kindersley, the publisher renowned for transforming children’s books through visually rich storytelling.

He will share insights into the creation of his award-winning books, revealing how they spark curiosity, nurture a love of nature, and encourage children to explore the world around them.

A spokesperson said: “It is an inspiring and thought-provoking talk for adults who want to ignite a lifelong fascination with the natural world in the next generation.”

Tickets for the talk at 7.30 pm on April 22 can be booked online.
