PEOPLE are being urged to join a volunteers initiative to help look after North Hill in Minehead.

The community is coming together to help care for the picturesque area. Volunteers have the chance to learn about history and nature for the area and how it is cared for.

There are a wide variety of seasonal conservation tasks to get involved with and no experience is necessary to join in.

CareMoor Exmoor says that it aims to ensure a thriving living landscape is what Exmoor National Park continues to be, they want it to be a place where people from within the county and further afield can come to enjoy, and benefit from Exmoor’s special qualities and admire its unique landscape.

Those who are looking to discover and develop new skills, meet new people in a relaxed outdoor environment, are encouraged to get in touch with the group, which meets on the last Tuesday of the month.

Lifts can be arranged from Minehead seafront.

North Hill Road, Minehead TA24 5LB, 10am - 2pm on the last Tuesday of the month. For more information, contact Patrick: 07973 727469 or email [email protected].
