A CHALLENGE to walk 80 miles of the King Charles III England Coast Path in eight days has been issued.

The walk, supported by Exmoor National Park Authority, will be a ‘journey through time and history’ on England’s newest national trail, taking in the spectacular Somerset and Exmoor coastline.

The challenge starts on September 28 at County Gate, on Exmoor, and finishes on October 5 at Brean Down, with a minibus taking people to the starting point each day.

People can join for as many days as they like or take on the whole challenge, which last year was only completed by three walkers.

Full information about the walks with the itinerary information and booking is available on the Somerset and Exmoor Coast website.
