A DAY of ‘fun and entertainment for the whole family’ is being lined up on the banks of Wimbleball Lake.

The Wimbleball Lake Countryside Fair on Sunday, May 17, is being organised by the South West Lakes Trust.

Visitors can discover local arts and crafts, food and drink, and enjoy nature activities and live music.

They will be able to explore the countryside and wildlife around the lake and try their hand at water sports or fly fishing and meet some of the friendly clubs based at Wimbleball.

The fair is free and runs from 11 am to 4 pm, with free car parking.

Among the organisations exhibiting at the fair will be the West Somerset Ramblers, which is looking for members to help run its stall.
