CHILDREN from Cheeky Cherubs Day Nursery and Pre-School in Minehead

recently found out all about the fire service when they visited Minehead Fire Station to support Home Fire Safety Week.

Twenty-eight children each had a turn sitting in the fire engine and spraying the hose, which was definitely the highlight of the visit!

They also heard about the importance of fire safety and saw all the different equipment used when fire fighting.

“The fire station gave the children a brilliant morning whilst teaching them the importance of fire safety, and we continued to discuss it with them for the rest of the week,” said Emma Farmer, a staff member at the nursery.
