There was also plenty for members and visitors to see and do elsewhere on the showground.

The ‘Village Green’ offered live music, a Punch and Judy show, archery, funfair, community circus, and ferret racing, along with food outlets and the Caz bar provided by The Rest and Be Thankful Inn, from Wheddon Cross.
The members’ enclosure, sponsored by local tea and coffee merchant DJ Miles, did a roaring trade as membership of Dunster Show proved even more popular than ever.
It now has more than 540 members supporting the show each year.
A full list of winners is available on the show’s website.
