BROADCASTER, historian, and journalist Jonathan Dimbleby is returning to the Dulverton Exmoor Literary Festival this year.

He will be talking in the town’s All Saints Church on his deeply-researched and compelling account of the Palestinian people, entitled ‘The Palestinians’.

Few conflicts have shaped the modern world as profoundly, or remain as fiercely contested, as that between the Israelis and the Palestinians.

Mr Dimbleby traces the history, identity, and struggle of the Palestinian people from the final years of the Ottoman Empire to the present day.

Drawing on many years of Middle East reporting, he examines the historical events, political decisions, and human experiences which have shaped the conflict.

It will be one of 31 author talks and literary events taking place from November 13 to 16.
