POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a two-car collision near Dulverton which left a man with life-threatening injuries.
The incident happened more than a week ago on October 7 but police only asked for the public's help on Wednesday.
The 26-year-old driver of a blue Peugeot 206 from the Minehead area remains in a critical but stable condition in Cardiff Hospital following the accident, which happened on an unclassified road between Brompton Regis and Dulverton at Bury Hill at about 7.20am.
The driver of the Ford was uninjured.

Schools closed, roads flooded, buses suspended as Storm Chandra strikes West SomersetA spokesman for Avon and Somerset police said investigating officer PC David Watson was keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision or may have seen the Peugeot prior to it happening.
It is believed the Peugeot was travelling southbound on the A396 between Minehead and Dulverton between 6.30am at the time of the accident.
Anyone with information is asked to call the collision investigation unit via the 24-hour enquiry on 101, quoting reference CI - 125/14.
