HOLI Moli beach hut scooped two silvers in awards that highlight excellence in the tourism sector across the South West.

The luxury beach hut owned by Brett Bates and Susan Juggins won silver in self-catering accommodation of the year as well as the dog-friendly business of the year category.

It means Holi Moli has followed its ‘sister beach hut’ Salad Days, also owned by Brett and Susan, which has already won the same awards.

The judging was carried out by experts in the field of tourism in the South West, and the presentation ceremony was held in Exeter Cathedral.

Susan said: “We know that standards across the tourism sector, especially here in the South West, are continually improving, so we were so proud to be recognised as a finalist this year.”

And Brett said: “When Salad Days won these awards a couple of years ago we were over the moon. To see our latest beach hut, Holi Moli, recognised similarly is a wonderful start for what is looking like a record breaking year for the two huts.

“By winning these awards, it not only helps us to show we are maintaining the high levels of accommodation we have become renowned for, but we are still leading the way, not just in Somerset but in the South West too. Guests staying with us know they can expect exceptional standards.”
