DORSET and Somerset Air Ambulance have been taking to the skies in a green helicopter.

The temporary change has been made because the usual yellow helicopter, which is named Peggy, is undergoing annual maintenance works.

The green machine, known as G-PICU, has all the same capabilities and layout of the usual helicopter, the Air Ambulance said.
