Staff and customers at Tesco Minehead showed their appreciation for NHS staff over the Easter period by raising £118.49 for Musgrove Park Hospital.

Community Champion Kirsty Allen presented a cheque to Sabrina Schwery, a children’s nurse at Musgrove. 

Children from local schools and nurseries got involved in a ’Design an Easter Egg’ competition, and the three age group winners – Rosa Powis, aged four, Leah Grace, five, and Fern Skinner, eight – each won a chocolate egg. 

Kirsty has also been busy with doorstop deliveries of special activity packages to residents of Dene Lodge, Glen Lyn and Wyndham House care homes, as well as children of key workers currently attending Minehead Middle School.
