Minehead Rugby Club v Minehead United Banks
MINEHEAD United Banks played their last game of the season last Thursday but unfortunately lost by three wickets to Minehead Rugby Club.
The Banks lost the toss and were put into bat, an opening partnership between Glen Baker and Brian Bisgood putting on 42 before being dismissed in quick succession.
Mark Vickers picked up the pace but when he went it was only Matt Coleman, playing his first match of the season and scoring 24, who made any impact and the Banks ended on 117-6.
Although not a great total after six overs it looked like the Banks would get revenge over the Rugby Club as they were on 33-6, Richard Coath and Vickers doing the damage. In taking his three wickets Coath achieved the hat-trick.
However Jason Hurley (32 no) and R Henson (26) turned the game with a match winning partnership and a final total of 119-7.

Timberscombe v Goodrich
TIMBERSCOMBE had to settle for a draw in a game they never really threatened to win against tourists Godrich.
The visitors batted first and were soon struggling at 8-3, including a first duck for five years from their skipper A Brown.
But then young P Evans featured in partnerships of 103 with M Evans and 61 with E Pyatt to take the tourists to a commanding 204 and declare with P Evans left on a fluent 86 no.
Timberscombe's fielding and bowling wilted under the pressure although it was not helped by the intervention of an 'errant hound' onto the playing area!
When Timberscombe replied their openers Gary Thorpe and Bruce Lang were put under pressure by Goodrich's opening bowlers and although they compiled an opening partnership of 47 before Lang was dismissed for 21, the home side were already behind the required rate, and although Thorpe reached 59 the match petered out to a draw with the home side closing on 109-4.
Goodrich: 204-5 (P Evans 86 no, M Evans 38, E Pyatyt 25, B Robinson 2-27, C Hayes 2-54).
