FESTIVE cheer for people in Minehead and Watchet was in plentiful supply on Christmas Day, when food and fellowship was provided at the Watchet Phoenix Centre and Millbridge Church.

The festive lunches were organised to support people who were alone, homeless or just needed to share in the Christmas spirit, and volunteers ensured they all had an enjoyable time.

At Millbridge Church, around 45 people, including helpers, got together to enjoy a three-course festive lunch.

And at the Phoenix Centre, 27 dinners were served and a day of entertainment was enjoyed by all.
