Medieval re-enactors and torchlight procession light up Dunster for winter festivalThey will be greeted by the sight of banners designed by children in year two who rose to a challenge set by local local police community support officer Linda Brooks to design a road safety poster.
The winning posters, designed by Poppy Stone and Lola Hyman, are now on two banners, printed and donated by Active Signs.
Linda, PCSO for Porlock and Dunster, said the aim of the competition was to help motorists better understand how to park legally and safely.
She said: “The entries were all of a high standard and it was a very hard decision. The children did a fabulous job.”
