MINEHEAD and Porlock branch of Save the Children is organising a walk – “not a hike” – on Friday to celebrate the charity’s centenary.

It will set off from The Avenue Methodist Church at 10am with registration from 9.30am.

The walk is within Minehead and on the level so that it is accessible for pushchairs, buggies and wheelchairs. Dogs on leads are welcome too.

Refreshments will be available at the church and donations would be appreciated.
