A street stall in Minehead was kept busy with shoppers and passers-by writing messages of support on pieces of coloured bunting.
The messages will be sent to Burkino Faso where forced marriage is an ongoing problem even if there are laws against it. Shelters for young women who are fleeing from intolerable situations provide some safety and help.
More than 90 pieces of bunting were completed at the stall and more at the following meeting of the group.
