Discoveries, challenges and fun can be found at Carhampton Community Orchard’s Butterflies ‘n’ Bugs event on Saturday (July 31).

Visitors can learn how to make a hedgehog house and pick up interesting facts about moths, caterpillars and bats. There will also be a chance to find out how to become a ‘citizen scientist’.

The event, which runs from 2pm to 4.30pm, is aimed at all ages and admission is free.
