A PORLOCK based outdoor adventure company is riding high after it was highly commended in the South West Tourism Awards for 2015/16.

Exmoor Adventures was the only one in Somerset, and one of just six companies from around the South West, who made it through to a new award category of Active and Sporting Experience.

Dan French (pictured), who started up the Porlock based company in 2009, will be attending an awards ceremony to be held in Exeter Cathedral on February 4.
