Wiveliscombe business owners say 'changes needed to survive' as business rates tripleThe company will not charge anybody from the Royal Navy, Army, Royal Marines, Royal Air Force, and any associated cadet force travelling to this year’s Armed Forces Day ceremonies on Saturday (June 28).
Free travel is also being allowed for anybody carrying a current Ministry of Defence-issued card with their branch of military service stated.
Bus drivers who have served in the Forces are also being encouraged to wear associated military attire while at work.
First Bus director Martin Hirst said: “This is our way of honouring all men and women who choose to serve and protect the freedoms of our country.”
