MINEHEAD Tennis Club members, brother and sister Emma and Peter Hoyland, were both selected to represent Somerset in an inter-county tennis competition.
Emma was picked to join the under 13s team, while Peter was selected for the under tens.
Unfortunately, Emma was unable to accept her place as she was already committed to taking part in water sports activities on the Isle of Wight.
But Peter was able to take part, playing matches in St Austell and Devizes. He won four of his five singles matches.

She came first in her age group in the county championships held at Millfield School and third in the South West of England Championships, in Bournemouth, earlier this year.
Emma and Peter are both pupils at Minehead Middle School.
