RESIDENTS in Wootton Courtenay were left without water or with low pressure on Friday (November 1) when a ‘third party’ damaged a mains pipe.

Wessex Water provided fresh water from a collection point next to the village shop while repairs were undertaken and completed by the early evening.

A spokesperson said: “We delivered bottled water to those affected. We are sorry for the inconvenience.”
