PLANS to revive one of Porlock's heritage industries as a commercial venture have taken a further step forward with a new funding boost.

Leaders of an innovative project to set up oyster beds near the harbour entrance at Porlock Weir celebrated the end of a successful one-year trial to test its viability earlier this year with an announcement that Porlock Bay oysters could be on limited sale by the summer.
