THIS year’s garden fete held at Old Orchard, Bicknoller, home of Maggie and Bill Pumphrey, raised £3,806 for Macmillan Cancer Support on Saturday, August 25.

Maggie, Bill, the Coleridge Committee and a host of other helpers were joined by visitors from far and wide for the 29th annual garden fete.

Many people donated to or bought from the stalls and raffles, and the West Somerset Brass Band playing in the background enhanced the party atmosphere.

The annual garden fete was started by Maggie and Bill in 1990 and has now raised nearly £69,000 for Macmillan.
