WATCHET artist Ian Barrett is appealing for the return of a carving that was mistakenly sold when it went on display in Williton.

Mr Barrett was among a number of local artists asked to supply works to decorate the new parish council office in Killick Way.
But due to a misunderstanding, the carving, which was never intended for sale, was bought by a woman.
"It was my first exercise in impressionist form and has a special place in my portfolio," said Mr Barrett.
He is hoping the new owner will agree to return the carving, in return for the reimbursement of the money paid for it.
Mr Barrett can be contacted on 01984 631396.
