Please may I apologise to my neighbours on The Avenue for the ear-splitting disturbance caused by my alarm system between 4.45 and 5.30pm on Wednesday April 24.

May I also extend my warmest thanks and appreciation to the three off-duty Foxes maintenance men who came across the road and helped me to fix the problem. True neighbours – a credit to both themselves and Foxes.
