Mr Watson is, of course, entitled to his opinion on the aesthetics or otherwise of the new Dunster Surgery (Letters May 5), but I think that it is a little harsh to sit in judgement of the old surgery without setting a foot inside.

I lived and worked at the old Dunster surgery (3 Park Street) for the best part of 30 years and it was a pleasure to be part of a team who enjoyed a happy working environment.

No 3 may not have the ‘bells and whistles’ of the new building, but a dungeon? Never!
