FIRE broke out in a wood burning stove connected to the central heating system of a three-storey manor house in Upton on Saturday evening (October 14)

A fire crew from Wiveliscombe was first on the scene at 8.34pm and was joined a little under an hour later by a second fire engine, from Dulverton, with equipment enabling the team to work safely at a height.
