AN ambulance and fire crew were called to a play park at Doniford Holiday Village at 6pm on Saturday evening to free a nine-year-old girl trapped in a swing.
Her mother called the fire brigade and said the child could no longer feel her legs, which were physically entangled so that her blood circulation was restricted.
An appliance from Williton Fire Station was mobilised immediately and contacted ambulance control.
The fire crew was able to release the young girl from the swing using small tools and then handed her care over to ambulance personnel.
