POLICE are searching for a man who may be able to help with their inquiries after alcohol, cigarettes and other items were stolen from a Minehead petrol station convenience store.

The thefts from the store in Seaward Way happened between 5pm and 5.15pm on October 13. Police have now released CCTV image of a man they are keen to speak to and who they believe was in the area at the time.

An Avon and Somerset police spokesman said: “We would like the man, or anyone recognising him, to contact us.

“It is possible people may have been in the area at the time of the incident.”
