WIVELISCOMBE, who have been in good form in recent weeks, play away on Saturday against Paignton who are lying third in Counties One Western West.

Having surprisingly beaten the leaders Plymstock Albion Oaks at home last weekend, Wivvy will be looking to improve on their second from bottom spot. Victory could take them up to 11th place.

Despite losing to Wivelisombe, Albion Oaks remain top of the table, six points clear of second placed Tiverton.

There are no other games being played in Counties One Western West, although there is a full programme of games tomorrow week when Wiveliscombe have a crucial home game against Bude. The Cornish side are ninth in the table and have improved after making a poor start to the season.

Wiveliscombe 2nd XV have a derby match away to Bridgwater & Albion 2nd XV in Counties Three Somerset South (2.30p.m.). It should be a close game with only one point separating the teams.
